The ‘Made in the UK, Sold to the World: Exporting for Growth Roadshow’ will take place at the Copthorne Hotel, Brierley Hill, on Tuesday 4 November — marking the first time the West Midlands regional event has been held in the Dudley borough.

Part of International Trade Week, it will explore opportunities for international growth and expansion and is aimed at UK businesses that want to export for growth.

Dudley Council’s Dudley Business First team is supporting the event, which will feature expert-led panels, interactive workshops, and networking sessions designed to equip businesses with the tools and confidence to succeed in global markets.

Both seasoned exporters and businesses new to international trade are encouraged to attend and people are being urged to book their space now.

Similar events will be held across the UK, but Dudley’s edition promises a unique opportunity for local businesses to connect directly with national and international trade specialists.

Councillor Simon Phipps cabinet member for economy and infrastructure, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome this prestigious event to Dudley. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our local businesses to gain practical insights, forge valuable connections, and unlock new markets.

“Dudley has a proud industrial heritage — and this event is about building on that legacy to help our businesses thrive on the global stage.”
