Innovate Dudley

Innovate Dudley is Dudley Business First’s campaign to help businesses understand the innovation ecosystem and the support available.

There is a demand and a gap in the market to plug for innovation support and funding in Dudley, and the a stark contrast between what support has been accessed by Dudley businesses, in comparison to the rest of the West Midlands. This gap has been the motivator behind providing a series of innovation events to allow businesses to network, collaborate and share best practice.

Innovation has two strands: anything new to the market or anything to the business. When we talk about innovation, we want to showcase what Dudley borough businesses are producing, what new products are going to market, but most of the innovation happens internally, through processes and systems, which helps improve production, reduce costs, or be more efficient.

It's this type of innovation that we want to help businesses in Dudley to explore.
