'Buy local' and support borough businesses
People are being encouraged to spend local when shopping for essentials while ensuring they adhere to government guidelines, to support borough businesses and stay safe as the coronavirus crisis continues.
However, when shopping in Dudley, people are reminded to play their part to help prevent the spread of the virus and follow government guidelines.
- Regular hand washing is still vital
- Keep a safe distance from others (two metres where possible)
- Continue to limit your contact with other people
- Wear face coverings to protect yourself and others
- Remember HANDS, FACE, SPACE

Virtual Christmas Market
Many of our small businesses have had to close their doors again to prevent the spread of coronavirus, at one of the busiest times of the year.
That’s why, the council is launching Dudley’s first virtual Christmas market!
It will allow a selection of local retailers and businesses to sell their products and services online, as well as offer discounts and special offers.
So even from the comfort of their own home, residents choosing to shop online can still shop local and support their high street.
How to apply:
Please send the following information to email@example.com or call Dudley Business First on: 01384 812001.
• Your name
• Contact number and email address
• Business name and location
• Type of product selling
If approved, we will then send you a link for you to upload your products. We recommend putting on three or four unique offers, and after one offer closes you are more than welcome to put another on up until 31st December.
