Businesses aim for gold

30 Oct 2019

Dudley borough businesses are urged to aim for gold and sign up to receive support to help grow their enterprise.

Dudley Council is launching its Aim for Gold business growth programme as part of a wider Black Country initiative, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

This means eligible small and medium businesses in Dudley can receive one-to-one support from Dudley Business First, Dudley Council’s business support team, to complete a business review and action plan identifying areas for growth.

They will also have the opportunity to attend a business growth masterclass and network with like-minded businesses.

Businesses will then have the opportunity to apply for financial assistance towards putting their growth plans into action.

Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:

"This is an opportunity for us to work closely with some of our smaller businesses in the borough and help them think about their future and how their aspirations for growth can become a reality.
"The economy is doing well in Dudley. We have a lot to look forward to as a borough and we want make sure that as many businesses as possible benefit and succeed."

Places on the programme are limited; to find out if a business is eligible and express an interest in joining the business growth programme contact Dudley Business First on 01384 812001 or go to https://www.dudleybusinessfirst.org.uk/grow-your-business/aim-for-gold/

The first masterclass session will take place on November 28.
